Nova Geodesia is a quarterly peer-reviewed journal aimed at disseminating significant research and original papers, critical reviews and short reviews in geodesy, as an applied science that studies the shape and dimensions of the Earth, for the preparation of maps and plans. In this wide area, there are included close topics, related to cartography, urban administration and environment, engineering projects and construction such as dams, bridges, plants, border marking, landscape and ecology, environmental administration, geography, planetology, and hydrography. Articles should make a significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge or toward a better understanding of these concepts. The journal was created by researchers from Romanian universities as a necessity for the development of this field with relatively few specialized publications in Romania and Southeast Europe. An Editorial Board advises the journal. The total content of the journal may be used without regard to copyright. The distribution of the material is encouraged with the condition that the authors and the source (Nova Geodesia) are mentioned.
